Lauren LoCascio, J.D.
Counsel & CEO

Lauren has enjoyed being an active member of the title insurance industry since graduating from New York Law School in 2001. She began as a staff closer for First American Title Insurance Company and then in 2003 moved over to Stewart Title Insurance Company where she served first as branch counsel in its direct operation and then as counsel in Stewart’s agency and claims departments. 

Since her admission to the New York State Bar, Lauren has maintained a practice representing buyers and sellers of coops and real property.

In 2014, Lauren resolved to dedicate her knowledge of deal structures, risk reduction, and title insurance products and opened her own shop. She created Cityscape Abstract with the needs of attorneys, lenders, and developers in mind—and an intention to provide the highest level of service to its customers.

Lauren is a member of the New York State Land Title Association and The New York City Bar Association. She and her family live in the Lower East Side.

Carly Guarino
Production Manager

Prior to entering the title industry in 2015, Carly spent her career in print and digital publishing at major houses such as Condé Nast, Hearst, and Time Out New York. She scheduled and supervised the day-to-day operations and managed the workflow of books and magazines through all stages of production from idea generation to completed product.

Carly is Cityscape's Production Manager and COO. She loves to research properties and find solutions that make her customers and their clients' deals close smoothly and efficiently.

She lives in Brooklyn and is a musician who continues to moonlight as a creative through her freelance design and production firm, South Slope Media.
